The story of The Riverwood
The Riverwood was designed for a new chapter in Cordillera Ranch. After years in a larger home, the homeowners wanted to downsize into a place they could enjoy for the rest of their lives—one that felt comfortable day to day but still had plenty of room to welcome their many grandchildren. They love to entertain, so this was never about living smaller. It was about making room for the people and moments that matter most.
On their rectangular lot, they chose to set the home farther back from the road, creating a welcoming approach and a little more breathing room around the house.
This home is especially meaningful to us because one of the homeowners served as division president for a major San Antonio homebuilder. They knew the building process firsthand and trusted Macaw to create their own family’s home. We’re proud to have earned that confidence and to have built a place where their family can keep gathering for years to come.
