Cody Torres, homebuilder in the industry for over ten years, has worked for builders big and small. He was attracted to the homebuilding world from the time he was a young child, watching home builder shows. Cody sought to change the landscape of residential homebuilding, thus Macaw Custom Homes was born. With a mantra of “No task too small, no home too big”, he sought out to build a company that is capable of delivering on the promise of your dream home, our mission. Cody is passionate about having a company committed to customer service that matches the quality of the home.
Recognizing the need for a superior product in the San Antonio market and the opportunity to provide something back to the community that gave him his start, Cody Torres founded Macaw Custom Homes in 2010 with the core values to provide strength, deliver value and ensure growth. Passionate about the future of San Antonio and as a self-proclaimed tech geek, Torres mission is to provide modern high-tech custom homes that deliver on the promise of accessible luxury.
And in case you are wondering where the company name originated, there is a story there. Cody Torres has a second passion, his macaw parrots, Charles and Felix. He named his company after his beloved macaws and has even built a room in his house just for them!
