Fernanda Leon

Sales Executive

Fernanda Leon was born in Costa Rica, the “pura vida” country. In 1996, she moved to Monterrey, Mexico and pursued her bachelor’s degree in architecture. She has 15+years’ experience in interior design, supporting sales, client relations, and business services.

Fernanda has been a realtor since 2017 and is applying her experience to her position as a sales executive on the Macaw Custom Homes sales team. She is fluent in English, Spanish, and French. Fernanda is passionate about assisting people in getting exactly what they want by designing their own custom home; thus making dreams come true.

Tony Bonaparte

Project Manager

Tony Bonaparte has been a licensed general contractor for over 30 plus years with experience in residential home building; including high end custom and production homes. Throughout his 30 years of experience, his responsibilities have included business owner, builder, sales manager, construction operations manager and jack of all trades.

Tony’s certifications include TREC licensed home inspector for the State of Texas, water mitigation, mold remediation, and fire and water restoration. He has experience in commercial and residential construction as well as insurance mitigation and restoration.

Tony was recruited by the team at Macaw Custom Homes to assist with the production of new custom homes in San Antonio and surrounding counties. Tony enjoys working with a team of professionals that strive to build the best product possible.

Tony has lived and worked in San Antonio for most of his life. He is married and has two sons that both work in the construction industry. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, golf, and ranching.

David Bobadilla

Financial Analyst

David Bobadilla is the financial analyst at Macaw Custom Homes. David has a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of North Florida.

David enjoys being part of a dedicated and dynamic team. He believes that Macaw Custom Homes is poised to make a significant impact, whether it’s taking over the world or simply revolutionizing the custom home building community.

When David is not crunching numbers, you’ll often find him behind the wheel of his new truck and exploring new culinary delights at local restaurants. His heart belongs to Belizean cuisine, a taste from his homeland.

Vanessa Bobadilla

Office Manager

Vanessa Bobadilla is the dedicated office manager at Macaw Custom Homes. In her role as office manager, she plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth daily operations of the office. Vanessa organizes schedules, provides top-notch customer service, and even takes care of restocking the office fridge.

Vanessa’s unwavering commitment to assisting others aligns perfectly with her role on this exceptional team.

When she is not pursuing professional excellence, you’ll find Vanessa savoring delicious spaghetti or enjoying rejuvenating cat naps.

Jimmy Ford

VP of Construction

Jimmy Ford grew up visiting commercial construction job sites that his Dad worked on. As a result of these visits to construction job sites, it was an easy transition when Jimmy reached college to step into residential construction management. After years of experience, Jimmy wanted to find a company with strong values, notably integrity, and a quality product. Once Jimmy met Cody Torres, Macaw Custom Homes CEO and founder, he could not wait to come on board as the Vice President of Construction at Macaw Custom Homes.

Day to day, Jimmy oversees all aspects of construction operations. He still can be seen as the construction manager on projects to ensure the quality and efficiency Macaw Custom Homes prides itself on is present.

In his free time, Jimmy thrives on spending as much time as he can with his wife and their 3 children. When he gets a moment for himself, he enjoys: movies, audio books, fishing, golf and technology.

Cody Torres

CEO and Founder

Cody Torres, homebuilder in the industry for over ten years, has worked with builders big and small. He was attracted to the homebuilding world from the time he was a young child.

Cody sought to change the landscape of residential homebuilding, thus Macaw Custom Homes was born. With a mantra of “No task too small, no home too big”, he sought out to build a company that is capable of delivering on the promise of your dream home, our mission. Cody is passionate about having a company committed to customer service that matches the quality of the home.

When Cody is not running Macaw Custom Homes, he enjoys spending time with his wife and their pets. Cody’s hobbies include watching movies, golfing, and woodworking.
