San Antonio and the Hill Country
Where we build custom homes
Macaw Homes works with clients across San Antonio and the surrounding Hill Country. Whether you own a lot or are still searching, start with the location you have in mind. We can discuss the home, property and practical steps together.

Areas we regularly discuss
San Antonio
Infill and neighborhood lots may call for a careful look at setbacks, access, existing utilities and neighborhood requirements.
Boerne and Fair Oaks Ranch
Hill Country homesites often make the landscape, views, driveways and outdoor living part of the design conversation from day one.
New Braunfels and Canyon Lake
Lot shape, slope, utilities, wastewater options and local requirements can influence the home’s placement and site budget.
Wimberley and nearby Hill Country
For rural and wooded properties, we look early at access, trees, utilities and the space available for the home and outdoor areas.
Garden Ridge and surrounding communities
We consider the property’s rules and setting alongside your goals for the floor plan, exterior and site improvements.
Another nearby area?
Send us the address or listing link. We will discuss whether the location and project are a fit before you spend time planning around it.
These examples are a guide to the region, not a guarantee that every parcel is buildable or within our active service area. We review each proposed project individually.
What changes from lot to lot?
The design and cost of a custom home depend on more than the city name. Building envelope, deed restrictions, access, topography, drainage, utilities and wastewater can all change the plan. A survey, engineering and the applicable authorities provide the technical answers for a specific property.
Have a property in mind?
Send the address or listing link, a rough description of the home you want and your comfortable total project investment. Our sales team includes licensed realtors who can help you search if you are not yet under contract for land.
